Biography
Elijah started to work in TRUE lab as an undergraduate research assistant in 2017. His work focused on “XACT imaging”. As a National Merit Scholar and achiever of a 4.0 GPA, Elijah has set himself apart at the top of his class. Other than the traditional undergraduate study, Elijah began undergraduate research in TRUE lab since his freshman year. Elijah was selected from a strong pool of applicants in the Honors Engineering Research Experience (HERE) program. Elijah went on to present at the prestigious National Conference of Undergraduate Research (NCUR). He also won the Broader Impact Award in the Curiosity to Creativity Symposium from the OU Office of Undergraduate Research. Moreover, Elijah’s written abstracts on XACT have twice served as one of ten finalists for the annual OU-OUHSC Biomedical Engineering Symposium. He published 2 first-author journal articles and an additional conference article as a co-author.
