Gerald Lee Won the UROP Project Pitch Challenge Award!
TRUE lab undergraduate student Gerald Lee competed in the first UROP Project Pitch Challenge, presenting his work on “Monitoring Radiotherapy with 3D Imaging – XACT” in person at the UROP 2022 Spring Symposium. He placed in Second under the Innovations Category, and participated in poster presentations in the following days. Congrats Gerald!

TRUE lab Ph.D. student, Kristina Bjegovic, has been selected as the predoctoral fellow in the NIH T32 Training Program for Interdisciplinary Cancer Research. Big congrats to Kristina!
The T32 Training Program for Interdisciplinary Cancer Research (IDCR) provides UCI graduate students and postdoctoral fellows with comprehensive, highly interdisciplinary training that includes cancer biology, the most current research methods, and a focus on translational science such as the development of novel cancer therapeutics and diagnostics.
